Became a co-director on the retirement of Bob Miller in September 1996. An accomplished Alto, she is known for having her music memorized two weeks into practice.

 

Karen Reed

Joined Choraliers: 1991

Karen, a soprano, is a kindergarten teacher for Ione Elementary School and a popular piano teacher in Ione. Karen also took over half of the accompanist duties when Don Singer retired as the Choraliers long-time pianist. She is joined in the group by her husband Tom Reed, tenor. This Season, we'll be treated to Karen and Tom performing a duet.

Irv Gidding

Irv is a long-time member of Choraliers, frequently playing his bass or trumpet in the "band." A retired music teacher from Amador High, he never slows down with a thriving piano tuning business, Golf, RV trips, and did I mention Golf?
